Meet Pooja C.K., the dedicated founder of The Speech Doctor. She is delighted to share her professional journey, which is fueled by her passion for empowering individuals to communicate effectively and confidently.
Pooja.C.K holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the prestigious All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) in Mysore. She is also talk tools Certified Oral placement therapist(Level1) from American occupational therapy association. Her rigorous academic training provided her with a deep understanding of audiology and speech-language disorders, preparing her for a significant impact in her field.
She served as a Research Officer at AIISH in the Department of Speech Language Sciences from 2016 to 2017, where she engaged in essential research that enhanced her expertise and contributed to the field of speech pathology.
With an impressive track record of over 8 years in the field, Pooja.C.K has worked across various settings, including hospitals, private clinics, special schools, and online platforms. She is also a skilled tele-speech therapist and has successfully delivered over 10,000 online and in-person speech therapy sessions, helping clients across India and globally.
Pooja.C.K is also a prolific contributor to the field of speech and hearing, with several national and international publications to her name. She is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India and is an active member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association.
Besides her consultancy, she manages The Speech Doctor, an online speech therapy clinic that she founded to make speech therapy accessible to all.
